It is expected that this business will be more convenient and suitable
for easy business. The Covid-19 epidemic has created a need to provide
stable and high speed broadband internet (data) service to a very large
growing number of subscribers across the country, including areas where
4G mobile coverage is not available. This need can be met by installing
public Wi-Fi.
In addition, the spread of public Wi-Fi will not only create jobs but
also increase disposable income in the hands of small and medium
enterprises to boost the country’s GDP as a whole.
The proliferation of broadband services through public Wi-Fi is a step towards digital India and its consequential benefits.
No license fee will be charged for broadband internet service provided
using public Wi-Fi hotspots which will give a huge boost to its spread
and establish it across the country. The availability and use of
broadband will increase income, employment and quality of life, ease of
doing business, etc.
