This session has been directed towards the implementation of pre-vocational education in the upper primary class of school head teachers and system level workers. The concept of pre-vocational education in the whole of education has been studied as a work-based activity in connection with the teaching-learning process, not as a separate addition to the existing scheme of education for Std. 6 to 8.
Apart from this, the module provides a comprehensive understanding on vocational education and skills-based development in the Indian context. The subsequent semester focuses on identifying and questioning gender in classroom and school processes. The last session helps school principals to integrate the study of a two-day workshop under the initiative of NISHTHA.
