On 5 July, the Honorable Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu launched the indigenous social media super app – virtually Elyments. The launch of the app was viewed live by more than 2.48 million people from 147 countries. In a practical presentation, the app’s developers highlighted the key features of the Elyments. Notable personalities from far-flung areas who came from far and wide for this important occasion, described the app as India’s next big milestone in the social media space.
Inaugurating the app virtually, Honorable Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu while dedicating the app to the nation said, “Innovation is the watchdog for today and calls for a pragmatic development strategy that will enable the country to capitalize on its inherent strengths.” ” He said that while praising the team, “I am happy to note that 1080 young IT professionals are involved in innovating the Elyments. Such initiatives demonstrate our strength in building a self-reliant India”.
As the number of social media users in India has increased significantly since the introduction of 4g technology within the country, the necessity for a homegrown Made in India Social Media Application was felt by many within the country largely thanks to rising concerns associated with the privacy of knowledge and data ownership.
With quite 500 million social media users within the country and therefore the numbers are only increasing, under the inspiration of leader Sri Sri Shankar (Founder of the Art of Living), quite 1000 IT professionals came together to develop the primary Made in India social media super application. the appliance is named ‘Elyments.
