LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO: 576 FOR ANSWER ON 16.09.2020 Retirement of employees 576.
SHRI TEJASWI SURYA: Will the Prime Minister be pleased to state:
(A) (b) whether there is any proposalion. to retire Central and State Government employees after consummation of their maximum service duration of 30 years; If yes, will the government require all central government employees in various states for this; If yes, will the government authorization all the employees of various state governments to do the same; And what is the goal behind prohibiting the service of government employees for 30 years?
(C) (d) Answer: Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Dr. Jitendra Singh)
(a): There is no recommendation to change the retirement age of Central Government employees. State government employees are governed by the rules / regulations made by their respective state governments.
(B) to (d): In view of (a) above, the question does not arise.
