Pradhanmantri Krishi Sichai Yojana will be extended till the year 2026

An expenditure of Rs 93068 crore is being estimated on this scheme. Out of which assistance of Rs 37454 crore will be provided by the Central Government. Apart from this, Rs 20434.56 crore has been approved by the CCEA for states with central assistance of Rs 37454 crore and to repay the loan taken by the Government of India for irrigation development during Pradhanmantri Krishi Sichai Yojana 2016.

Pradhanmantri Krishi Sichai Yojana: Farmers of Udaipur can apply till September 15

Under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, 70% subsidy amount will be provided to horticulture farmers and 50% subsidy amount will be provided to marginal farmers on installation of Drip Plant. This information was provided by Deputy Director Dr. KN Singh. Apart from this, 60% subsidy will be provided to small and marginal farmers on purchase of fountain plant and 50% subsidy will be provided to other farmers. To take advantage of this scheme, farmers have to apply online. This online application can be done through E Mitra on Raj Kisan Sathi portal.

Jamabandi, trace measurement, plant quotation, soil water test report, electricity bill, Aadhaar card etc. are mandatory to fill the application form. The benefits of this scheme will be provided on first come first serve basis. Farmers in Udaipur district can apply under this scheme till 15 September 2021.

Financial assistance for Har Khet Ko Pani scheme

PMKSY 2023 has been started by the government to help the farmers. Under this scheme, water will be made available for irrigation of fields. A virtual cabinet meeting was conducted on 22 December 2020 under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In this meeting, the cabinet has allocated Rs 1706 crore for Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana. Madhya Pradesh has a share of Rs 682 crore 40 lakh 40 thousand in this. Mandla, Dindori, Shahdol, Umaria and Singrauli districts of Madhya Pradesh have been included under this scheme. Borewells will be constructed in these districts. So that irrigation facilities can be made available to the farmers. It will be built in an area of ​​62135 hectares to provide borewell irrigation facility.

• 75% grant will be given by the center for the scheme and 25% of the expenditure will be done by the state government.
• Due to this, farmers also get the benefit of irrigation schemes like drip / sprinkler.
• By using the system of new equipments, 40-50 percent water will be saved and along with that 35-40 percent increase in agricultural production and quality of produce will accelerate.
• During 2018 – 2019, the central government will spend around 2000 crores, and another 3000 crores will be spent on this scheme in the next financial year.
