If you often travel long distances by train, then the railways is going to make some big changes in the rules keeping in view the problems faced at night. Many times the passengers have to face problems during the journey at night, to overcome this, the railway is going to take this big step.
Heavy fine will be imposed on those who make noise at night
It has often been seen in the train that people talk loudly on the phone at night or listen to the song loudly on the speaker. Due to which other passengers have to face problems. Many people listen to movies and sloppy songs at night, people are also very disturbed by this. In view of all this, the Railways has taken a special decision to overcome such problems. Railways has decided that from now on, fines will be imposed on those who commit such acts inside or outside the coach. Talking loudly to other people in the coach while sleeping at night or playing songs at high volume or talking on calls, thereby disturbing other passengers will be fined handsomely.
You can watch movies with earphones
According to the new rules of the Railways, the passenger can watch movies or listen to songs by wearing earphones. But those doing any such act in the train without earphones will be fined heavily. Railways has brought this new rule so that passengers can travel easily and without any hassle.
Now TTE will not check tickets at night
Many times it has been seen that after sleeping the sleeping passenger wakes up to check TTE ticket and ID. But now according to the new rules of the Railways, TTE cannot wake up anyone from 10 in the night to 6 in the morning and check the ticket and ID. Ticket verification will be done from 6 am to 10 pm only. Now TTE cannot check ticket by waking any passenger while sleeping. However, this rule does not apply to those traveling after 10 pm, they will have to get their ticket verified from TTE.
